The Tech City Investment Organisation was proud to host
Entrepreneurs Festival, the largest event of its kind staged in the fastest growing tech cluster in Europe.
It was held November 14-19, Entrepreneurs Festival brought together 400 of the best and brightest entrepreneurs from across Europe to meet, train and pitch to the top mentors, entrepreneurs and investors from the UK, USA and Europe.
Organised as part of London’s Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Festival is designed to give young tech and digital companies a competitive advantage by accelerating their start-up phase through an intense week of business boot camp training sessions with the industry’s most successful leaders.
As part of the Entrepreneurs Festival, the 400+ entrepreneurs attended TechWorld on Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 November.

Entrepreneurs Festival Goes To TechWorld
The Entrepreneurs Festival @ Tech City Stand
- 09.00 to 10.00: Entrepreneurs Festival delegates have the opportunity to attend the main TechWorld Plenary Session in the Conference Area of the ExCel , www.techworld.uk.com/conference
- 10.00 to 15.30: As well as ‘working the Show’ and attending any of the interesting and thought provoking tailored seminar sessions both in the Entrepreneur Festival Plenary Room or main TechWorld Conference Area, Festival delegates can also participate in a range of activities that are happening throughout the two day event
Delegates are free to use the Entrepreneur Festival Stand as their ‘base’ for the duration of TechWorld. On the Stand, delegates are invited to visit the different activity Zones, including:
- The Entrepreneurs Festival Pitching Den
- Entrepreneurs Festival delegates can put their newly honed pitching skills to the test and pitch to industry mentors, businesses and investors
- Demo Alley
- Entrepreneurs Festival delegates can plug their laptops into the Demo Alley pods and demonstrate their company, product, website or show reel to TechWorld attendees, investors, mentors or peers
- Showcase Zone
- If Entrepreneurs Festival delegates want to have more private, one-to-one conversations with TechWorld attendees, potential clients, mentors, investors or peers, they can use the Showcase Zone to host these meetings
- “How Do I?” Zone
Throughout the two days of TechWorld, Entrepreneurs Festival delegates will be able to meet with industry experts to find out the answers to ‘How do I?’ questions covering a range of different disciplines including:
- Finance
- Taxation matters
- Visa application
- PR, Media and Marketing
- Design
- Legal Angles
- Accommodation
A timetable will be available at TechWorld for Entrepreneurs Festival delegates to book their slot with the ‘How Do I?’ industry experts
The Tech City Experience
Here delegates will be taken on a visual journey through Tech City and see show reels from the companies who have made it their home and meet with a range of Tech City companies who will be on hand to share their experiences

- 14.00 to 14.30: Bite-sized PR: Tips, Tricks and Topics to Engage the Media: Sara Jurkowsky and Mark Walsh, Hill & Knowlton
- 14.30 to 15.00: The Digital Media Market in the UK: Sam Michel, Chinwag
- 15.30 to 17.00: Entrepreneurs Festival delegates have the opportunity to attend the TechWorld Enabling Technologies Seminar in the main Conference Area. This will be a panel discussion with the UK’s most successful and innovative and creative companies and individuals from the digital media environment
- 17.00: TechWorld Day One Closes

- 09.00 to 10.00: Entrepreneurs Festival delegates have the opportunity to attend today’s main TechWorld Plenary Session in the Conference Area of the ExCel http://www.techworld.uk.com/conference
- 10.00 to 15.30: Following the same path as Day One, Entrepreneurs Festival delegates can make the most of their time at TechWorld by ‘working the Show’ or attending any of the day’ motivating and appealing seminar sessions
- Delegates can continue to utilise the Entrepreneur Festival Stand as their ‘base’ and make the most of the different activity zones available. These are:
